Join us at The Village Art Gallery for a book reading by local author/artist Denee’ Hanna Saturday 12th at 11am. Cost is Free! Question and answer session after the reading. Share ideas and create pictures in your own take home journal. All ages welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. Books available for purchase.

Shop the Village at night while sipping wine. Check in at Myrt Tharpe Square between 5-7pm to purchase your tickets and receive your wine glass and map of participating shops and galleries. The Village Art Gallery will be participating, offering wine and cheeses, music, and beautiful art for sale. Many of our artists will be here for the event to answer any questions.
Master Class: Edvard Munch's "The Scream"

The Cutting Edge of Palette Knife Painting
Taught by Linda Krupp, you will learn the fundamentals and technics of using a palette knife to paint a picture. No experience necessary. You will have a reference photo to paint from. This 1 day course is $150.00 and includes all materials. Can be messy so wear old clothes or an apron. Also bring your own snack and beverages. Ukulele Summer Kids Camp
Our summer ukulele kids camp is a 1 week, 4 hour per day camp. The camp will go on each week through the month of July.
Students will learn how to tune, how to hold the uke, learn a few chords, and play an easy song by the end of the week. If time permits, we may also add in an art class. Tuition includes a brand new Kala, mahogany, soprano ukulele to take home at the end of the week to keep. The class is taught by Bruce Reigle, a vetted, screened, and fingerprinted owner of the gallery. Reigle is also a Brevard County Library B.R.A.V.E. volunteer, and former Big Brother in Big Brother, Big Sister organization.
Each 1 week class is open to only 5 students, ages 5-12 beginning the week of June 30. Class starts at 8am and goes to 12pm with a break at 10am for provided snacks and water.
Cost is $230.00 and includes a brand new, quality Kala soprano ukulele, valued at $69.00. Students will be using their ukuleles all week and will take them home after the last class on Friday. The ukulele is for them to keep.

Meet the Artists Live Painting Event
Meet the Artists event. Several of our local artists will be working on their “Patriotic” paintings for all to see. Finished paintings or near finished paintings will be available for July 4th. Refreshments available. ALL WALL ART ORIGINALS 10% OFF THROUGH JUNE.
Oil Painting for Beginners
This is a 2 day class. First day is June 16 and second day is June 23. Both days, class is 10am to 2pm.
This class is perfect for students with limited or no experience using oils. All supplies are furnished. Linda Krupp will provide informational handouts and step-by-step instruction that will cover paints, brushes, canvases, boards, etc., color basics, and painting techniques.
Cost is $175.00 for both days. Call the gallery to reserve your space.
Meet the Authors
Come to the gallery and meet 6 local authors, hear their stories, and the roots of their books. Purchase autographed copies. Refreshments available.
Scavenger Hunt
Stop in the gallery anytime during business hours and play along! Pick up an Art List to participate. Fill out your name, email, and phone number and go to work finding the matching art pieces and artists. If you get them all, your name will go into a drawing and at the end of the month a name will be drawn for a great prize.
